Everlasting Rose

One Woman's Amazing Survival in Defiance of Life-Threatening Cancers and Sepsis

Through humor, resilience, and unwavering hope, I share my incredible journey of surviving three life-threatening cancers—pancreatic cancer, T-cell lymphoma, and leukemia—along with other conditions like sepsis. From age 56 to my present age of 80, I battled through chemotherapy, radiation, and a bone marrow transplant, all while maintaining faith that there was a brighter future ahead. Statistically, my chances of survival were 1 in 1,000, but I defied the odds and emerged stronger.

Everlasting Rose is not just a memoir; it’s a source of hope and a guide to disease prevention for anyone facing a similar path. I invite you to join me as I share the tools, techniques, and mindset that helped me on my journey of survival.

"My mission is simple: to help you on your journey, no matter what health challenges you may be facing. Through my book, personal insights, and ongoing efforts to support cancer research, I aim to be a beacon of hope and a resource for those in need. Together, we can defy the odds and find our way to healing."

I always stayed positive and hopeful to live another day.

About Rose Murphy

One Woman's Amazing Survival in Defiance of Life-Threatening Cancers and Sepsis

I grew up as a Catholic Italian girl in a close-knit community in West Albany, New York. My upbringing instilled in me the values of family, faith, courage, and loyalty, which have carried me through my most difficult challenges. My education and career in healthcare allowed me to experience various aspects of the industry—from nursing and teaching to administration, sales, and consulting.

However, at the age of 56, my life took a drastic turn when I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. What followed was a long and tortuous journey through multiple illnesses, filled with pain and suffering, yet always marked by positivity and hope for the future. Today, I’m 80 years old, and I’m eager to share my story of survival, resilience, and the lessons I’ve learned along the way.

This website is a place for connection, hope, and healing. I encourage you to explore my story and take away the strength and inspiration you need to face your own challenges.
